Electric Tankless Hot Water Heater

Electric tankless hot water heaters only heat water as it is needed, unlike conventional tank hot water heaters. With a conventional tank hot water heater, the water is heated 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and stored till needed, forcing you to pay for the electricity costs of heating water when you don't need it. With an electric tankless hot water heater, you only pay to heat the water as it is used. One of the advantages to electric tankless hot water heaters is that the hot water supply never runs out, as the water is being heated on an as needed basis rather than relying on a stored source of heated water. No more running out of hot water in the middle of a shower!

Stiebel Eltron DHC-E 20 Electric Tankless Hot Water Heater

Unlimited Supply of Hot Water. Keeps heating water instantly as you require. The DHC-E system completely replaces a conventional tank heater with no disruption to your comfort and hot water needs.

Saves Energy and Reduces Your Electric Bill. Electric tank type water heaters are subject to standby losses which amount to 15 - 20% of the kWh used. Changing to a tankless system results in savings of 15 - 20%.

Sleek Design Saves Space. The DHC-E takes up considerably less space than conventional tank type water tanks and saves valuable living space.

Control Temperature Simply by Setting a Dial. Set the knob on the front cover and enjoy water temperatures between 86°F (30°C) and 125°F (52°C). Change the desired temperature at anytime. Advanced microprocessor technology ensures that the water temperature never deviates from the set point.

Proven Reliability Backed by a Three Year Warranty. STIEBEL ELTRON has an enviable track record of engineering excellence and product quality. The three years parts warranty is unique in the industry. You can depend on the DHC-E for many years to come.

Seismic Proof Construction. DHC-E is a tankless water heater system, and is thereby not subject to seismic code. There is no need for preventative construction, as required when using a tank type water heater.

The DHC-E tankless electric water heater differs from convention storage type water heaters in several ways. It does not store hot water. Instead, water is heated instantaneously as it flows through the unit. Due to the absence of stand-by losses, the DHC-E offers greater energy efficiency than storage type water heaters.

The input of heat into the water is electronically controlled. The DHC-E tankless water heater will deliver any water temperature between 86 °F (30 °C) and 125 °F (52 °C). The desired temperature can be set using the knob on the front cover. The LED displays the temperature that the unit will produce.
